Values education promotes tolerance and understanding respect, empathy, equality, solidarity and critical thinking, beyond our political, cultural and religious differences, putting special emphasis on the defence of human rights, the protection of ethnic minorities and the most vulnerable groups, and the conservation of the environment.

Value Education programme
The Chair’s 3 year long course for graduate students on value education is held in 14 colleges, with the texts prepared by the Chair, catering to 16,000 students.
First year, the topic : Personality Development and Value of Life.
Second year, the topic : Values and Socety
Third year, the topic : Values for a Successful Life.
The examinations are conducted in all the colleges and the certificates are distributed.
